Kasturi, known as musk, is the name of a sacred animal found in a mountainous region.This animal has its own story. Kasturi Farmstay is 30 km away from Darjeeling city.There are two beautiful markets nearby, Kainjalia and Bijanbari. In this region, 90% of them are farmers .They make a living by farming in their own fields. Cultivation of various fruits and vegetables is an occupation. It is surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna. Paddy, orange, cardamom, banana, maize, potato, millet,pineapple, jackfruit, avocado,kiwi, sugarcane, guava are grown in plenty.
